The Roca Caus Ceramics workshop, in Spain has a long centuries-old tradition, based on the manufacture of the traditional Verdú Black Pots and has been passed down from father to son, until the present day. Josep Anguera works in the same methods and materials today. Verdú 's black pottery is a mark of artisanal quality in the Urgell region and the Lleida plain in general. The shapes and the colors pf the pottery takes us back to earlier times, to the Medieval Era. This was especially important before the advent of running water. Their old Morú type oven dates from the year 1730, the clay base is also the same clay that has been used for centuries.
