Traditionally, prayer flags are used to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom and facilitate prayers and mantras that will be blown by the wind to spread the good will and compassion into all pervading space. They are printed on sustainably-harvested eco-friendly Lokta paper and are handmade by fair trade artisans. Sales benefit several community schools managed by the producers in Nepal.
